On July 8, 2025, we held an international online workshop “Report with Equity: Solutions Journalism”, which brought together more than 30 participants from Ukraine
, Lithuania
, Italy
, and Croatia. 
The young journalists explored how to combine objectivity with an inclusive approach to covering complex social issues.
We discussed it together:
What is objectivity in journalism and how can it be combined with equality?
What are the four principles of journalistic decision-making?
How to ensure fairness in the coverage of vulnerable groups without portraying them as victims?
How do we create stories that focus on resilience and problem-solving rather than dramatizing them?
The workshop was a great opportunity for participants not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to practice developing media narratives that promote social change.
The INSIGHT project is implemented by Young Agents of Change (Ukraine) in cooperation with AY Institute and Prirašytos Rankos (Lithuania), SCAMBIEUROPEI ETS (Italy) and BRODOTO (Croatia) and funded by the European Union.
