Young agents of change, together with clinicians from the legal clinic of the Penitentiary Academy of Ukraine, conducted an important final online soft skills training session for young people in the Kyiv SIZO as part of the INSIGHT project.
The topic of the meeting was “Information Security of Today. Disinformation and its impact on people”
During the class, we discussed:
– the impact of fakes and manipulations on a person’s worldview,
– the importance of information hygiene in the digital age,
– critical thinking as a key security skill in the modern world.
Such meetings contribute to the formation of analytical thinking, the ability to critically evaluate information, a conscious perception of events, and the skills necessary for independent conclusions and adaptation in the modern information environment.
Each of these initiatives is an important step towards the rehabilitation and reintegration of young people after release. The ability to distinguish the truth from manipulation, the ability to draw reasonable conclusions and choose safe paths for oneself is the basis for creating a free, responsible and conscious society.
