In June 2025, the international INSIGHT project conducted two important trainings aimed at raising legal and information awareness among young people, including minors, as well as probation clients of the Chernihiv District Department of the Probation Center branch in Chernihiv Oblast.
1️⃣ Training: “Release from the institution: social connections and online services for minors”
This training was aimed at providing juveniles with important knowledge and skills for successful social adaptation after release.
Participants had the opportunity to learn:
🪪 How to prepare basic documents;
🧩 Where to look for support after release;
🌐 What online services are available for young people;
🤝 How to build social connections.
The class was held in the form of interactive exercises, where participants were able to practically consolidate their knowledge through role-playing games and team tasks. This allowed them to better prepare for new social challenges and find resources for support in difficult situations.
2️⃣ Training on the topic: “Information security of today. Disinformation and its impact on people”
The second training was aimed at raising awareness among probation clients of the Chernihiv District Department. The participants learned:
🔎 What is disinformation and how it affects human consciousness;
💡 How to identify fakes and avoid becoming a victim of manipulation;
🧠 How to develop critical thinking and information hygiene skills.
The training included practical cases, which allowed participants to learn from real-life situations and increase their awareness of information security issues. Such trainings are extremely important nowadays, when the issue of disinformation is becoming more and more relevant.
