From October 22 to 30, 2025, young people from Ukraine 🇺🇦, Poland 🇵🇱, Israel 🇮🇱, Italy 🇮🇹, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Turkey 🇹🇷, Armenia 🇦🇲, and Sakartvelo 🇬🇪 gathered in Ureki to discuss the most important issues: peace, diplomacy, and the power of humanity.
The Act4Peace project became a unique space for dialogue between young people from countries that know what conflict, occupation, and loss are, but also know what recovery, cooperation, and faith in the future are. It was a week when stories were told openly, from different perspectives, but with one goal in mind: to understand each other.
📚 During the exchange, participants:
🤝 learned techniques for peacemaking, negotiation, and finding common solutions;
💬 shared their countries’ experiences, discussed post-conflict trauma, the challenges of democracy, and the importance of dialogue;
🌍 explored how empathy, diplomacy, and practical action can be combined to achieve peace;
💡 developed ideas for their own initiatives to promote a culture of peace in their communities.
The project has ended, but its idea lives on: peace begins with conversation, and anyone can be the one to start it.
