Hearing everyone: stories, emotions, dialogue

On August 9, 2025, the KOROБКА youth center in Trostyanets became a space for sincere conversations, emotions, and creative self-expression.

The city’s youth participated in an event where the main tool was forum theater, an interactive method that helps to feel and understand important social issues more deeply.

📌 What happened:

– Learned about the concepts of internally displaced persons, refugees, and war victims.

– We watched videos and discussed real-life stories.

– Through forum theater, we immersed ourselves in problems and sought solutions together.

– Shared their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

✨ Results:

100% of participants tried the forum theater format for the first time and found it interesting and informative. Many thought about the difference between the concepts of IDP, refugee, and war victim for the first time.

Participants noted that the event helped them develop empathy, open up in communication, and gain a deeper understanding of the problems faced by war victims.

🙏 The event was facilitated by Maria Slabospitska, a participant in the Stronger Together training for youth workers in Moldova. We thank her for creating a safe space and conducting interactive exercises that allowed us not only to gain new knowledge, but also to experience it through emotions.

📷 We share with you the atmosphere of the event in photos and videos.
