From May 20 to 28, 2026, young people from Ukraine 
, Poland 
, Georgia
, Moldova 
, Armenia 
, Czech Republic 
and Cyprus 
gathered in the picturesque town of Ureki on the Black Sea coast to explore together important topics such as European integration, democracy, and active citizenship.
The “Chasing European Dreams” project brought together 42 participants, where each person was able to speak freely, share experiences, and develop their own civic stance.
During the exchange, participants:
examined the path of Ukraine, Sakartvelo, and Moldova toward European integration and the common challenges facing the region;
discussed topics such as democracy, human rights, media literacy, and combating disinformation;
learned critical thinking and shared experiences through group work and peer-to-peer learning
Intercultural exchange proved to be a particularly important element, as participants had the opportunity to hear real-life stories, see Europe through the eyes of young people from the East and West, and reflect together on what it means to be an active citizen today.
“Chasing European Dreams” has shown that genuine dialogue among young people from different countries builds bridges between cultures and inspires change both within themselves and in their communities.
