On May 15, a webinar titled “Digital Security for Changemakers: How to Protect Your Data, Communication & Impact” was held. Then, on May 22, participants took an in-depth look at the topic during the “Data Protection & Online Privacy” workshop.
Here’s a brief summary of what we were able to discuss with our participants:
How the Internet Sees Us: How Our Personal Data Is Collected and Used.
Maximum Privacy: What Are the Key Risks for Activists and How to Properly Configure Privacy Settings on Social Media.
Secure Communication in Practice: Which Messaging Apps to Choose and Which Digital Habits Really Work.
Real-world case studies: How to protect data in high-risk environments and how civic initiatives can work with information safely.
A huge thank you to our incredible speaker, Anastasia Apetyuk.
The “CivicCode Hackathon” project is being implemented Young Agents of Change, Stowarzyszenie Warte Uwagi, World Society Builders and funded by EVZ Foundation .
