We are pleased to announce the start of a 36-month project designed to raise the professional level of youth workers and develop the capacity of civil society organizations to support displaced youth. At the head of an international consortium, together with partners from Poland, Turkey, Georgia and Moldova, our organization will work on creating resources and methods that will help young refugees and IDPs overcome the challenges of forced resettlement, integrate into new communities and strengthen their civic engagement.
The main elements of the project include international trainings and educational programs for youth workers with an emphasis on cultural integration, psychosocial support and trauma work; development of methodical materials and manuals; developing the institutional capacity of organizations working with displaced youth through the exchange of best practices and networking.
This initiative received support from the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program, under the direction of capacity building in the field of youth (Capacity Building in Youth 2024). Learn more about this and other projects supported by the program at the link: https://shorturl.at/2W3Mj
