On May 8, the NGO \u201cYoung Agents of Change\u201d organized an exhibition as part of the international INSIGHT project at the Penitentiary Academy of Ukraine<\/a> (Chernihiv).<\/p>\n\n

The aim of the exhibition is to draw attention to the issues of reintegration, human rights, and society\u2019s attitude toward people who are serving sentences or returning to the community after their release.<\/p>\n\n

In the Ukrainian context, the exhibition focuses on stories collected by our team and journalists during interviews at the Zhytomyr and Kolomyia correctional facilities. These are the stories of people who are serving sentences or returning to society after their release\u2014about their experiences, challenges, stigma, and search for a fresh start. <\/p>\n\n

Through these materials, we aim to stimulate public dialogue, encourage people to rethink their biases, and discuss resocialization and human rights without sensationalism or labels.<\/p>\n\n

After all, we sincerely believe that it is through personal stories, empathy, and responsible communication that we can build a society founded on respect for human dignity and European values.<\/p>\n\n

The INSIGHT project is being implemented Young Agents of Change<\/a> in cooperation with AY Institute<\/a>, Prira\u0161ytos rankos<\/a>, Scambieuropei<\/a>, Brodoto<\/a> and is funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n\n
