On July 8, 2025, we held an international online workshop \u201cReport with Equity: Solutions Journalism\u201d, which brought together more than 30 participants from Ukraine\"🇺🇦\", Lithuania\"🇱🇹\", Italy\"🇮🇹\", and Croatia.<\/a> \"🇭🇷\"<\/p>\n\n

The young journalists explored how to combine objectivity with an inclusive approach to covering complex social issues.<\/p>\n\n

We discussed it together:<\/p>\n\n

\"🔹\"What is objectivity in journalism and how can it be combined with equality?<\/p>\n\n

\"🔹\"What are the four principles of journalistic decision-making?<\/p>\n\n

\"🔹\"How to ensure fairness in the coverage of vulnerable groups without portraying them as victims?<\/p>\n\n

\"🔹\"How do we create stories that focus on resilience and problem-solving rather than dramatizing them?<\/p>\n\n

The workshop was a great opportunity for participants not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to practice developing media narratives that promote social change.<\/p>\n\n

The INSIGHT project is implemented by Young Agents of Change <\/a>(Ukraine) in cooperation with AY Institute<\/a> and Prira\u0161ytos Rankos<\/a> (Lithuania), SCAMBIEUROPEI ETS<\/a> (Italy) and BRODOTO<\/a> (Croatia) and funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n\n
