This impactful documentary, created by three dedicated Lithuanians — Tomas Jenkelevič, Antanas Čeponis, and Eduardas Pontežis — offers an unfiltered view of life in war-torn Ukraine. These remarkable individuals, despite not being professional filmmakers, self-funded and directed the project to document the harsh realities faced by Ukrainians. In the first part of the movie they traveled through cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, and liberated towns such as Bucha and Borodianka, and in the newly premiered “A Glimpse of Reality 2”, they travelled to the South to show Odessa and Mykolaiv, capturing stories of loss, survival, and unwavering strength.
The film shows how the war has reshaped lives, focusing on families, children, and communities facing unimaginable challenges. It’s a raw and authentic portrayal of resilience and hope in destruction.
